The project passes under the River Barrow across the county boundaries of Wexford and Kilkenny. The development consists of (1) Medium Voltage (MV) electricity system improvement by the installation of a new 20kV electricity underground cable (UGC) by means horizontal directional drilling (HDD) under the River Barrow to connect the Lake Region circuit at Marshmeadows, County Wexford to the Beechgrove circuit at Raheen, Rosbercon, County Kilkenny.
